The Adventure Weekend promotes everything we love with mountain biking—fun rides, hanging out with friends, enjoying nature, appreciating great trails, and meeting new people.

Make sure you have paid in PitZone. There is no specific registration for this event. All NICA VA athletes are welcome. Families are also welcome to be there and enjoy the great riding at Stokesville.

EVENTS

SATURDAY
▪ RACE course marked (minimal marking) for preview.
▪ Former National Champion and local legend Jeremiah Bishop will lead course preview ride to give the ins and outs of racing a NICA course.
▪ Harlan Price of Take Aim Cycling will lead a variety of skills clinics throughout the day.
▪ Kelly Hazlegrove will teach advanced skills.
▪ Canyon Bikes Demo
▪ Bike Rodeo Competition (Dual Slalom, Survivor Island, and more)
▪ Variety of talks given by local professionals
▪ Bonfire, S’mores, and ghost stories in evening.

SUNDAY

Pancake Breakfast
▪ Beginner ride on race course led by Kelly Hazlegrove
▪ 2 big mountain rides will be loosely marked. These are completely OPTIONAL. Riders and coaches may ride at their own risk. Both rides are ADVANCED. While the courses will be marked, these rides are not led nor supported by League officials.
